Course Catalogue:
Robotic configurations used for the development of automated machines and production lines. Programming environments for robotic systems. Robot control through 2D and 3D vision systems. Main configurations of automated machines, general description of design and programming issues. Introduction to PFMEA topics for production lines. The PLCOpen standard for the programming and control of complex multi-axis machinery. Interaction between production lines and plant supervision and management systems. Software systems and architectures for sharing process data for the monitoring and maintenance of production lines.
If the course will be delivered in mixed or completely remote form, some changes could be introduced in the syllabus in order to make the course, and the relevant exam, feasible also in this way.
Students who receive a failing grade or are absent without justification from an exam session are allowed to take the exam in the next one.
