PRATI Davide

Associate Professor of Architectural Engineering at the University of Bergamo since 2025. Former Senior Researcher at the same university from 2022 to 2025. He graduated in Building Engineering (old degree program) from the School of Engineering and Architecture at the University of Bologna. He later got his PhD in Architecture (XXX cycle) on ‘Innovative construction techniques for sustainable building’. He has been a research fellow, professor on contract, and teaching tutor at the University of Bologna for Architectural Engineering classes at the same university until 2022. His research is mainly in the field of Architectural Engineering and Building Renovation in seismic areas. His main interests are the development of new construction techniques and the actualization of historical construction techniques. He also works with TLS (Terrestrial Laser Scanning), with a particular focus on the application of reverse engineering techniques and the digitization of built heritage. He is interested in the rapid assessment of complex heritage in relation to seismic vulnerability, energy performance improvement, and management.
