Curriculum Vitae

Professor Davide Brugali graduated in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1994 and received his PhD in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Turin in 1998. From 2001 to 2011, he was a Researcher at the University of Bergamo. Since 2011, he has been an Associate Professor at the University of Bergamo, where he is the coordinator of the Software Engineering for Robotics Laboratory (SERLab).

Primary Areas of competence: Software Engineering for Robotics, Mobile Robots, Embedded Real-Time Systems.

Robotics: Principles and Practice (2004-present)

- Founder and Co-Chair of the Technical Committee on Software Engineering for Robotics, IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (2007-2020)
- Founder and Co-General Chair of the IEEE Robotic Computing and Communication Conference (2017-present)
- Member of the euRobotics AISBL Topic Group on Software Engineering,
Systems Integration and Systems Engineering (2012-present).
- Distinguished Lecturer on SE for Robotics of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (2022-2023)
