DOSSENA Giovanna Maria

Full Professor of Economics and Business Management at the Department of Business Sciences at the University of Bergamo.
Her study and research work is mainly focused on the study of corporate management, corporate finance and business models, empirical testing of corporate development strategy and conduct, and the rationale behind strategic business combinations and internationalisation.
Founder and director of the Entrepreneurial Lab E-lab Research Centre (www.elab-unibg.it) aimed at promoting a new entrepreneurial culture and spreading it among economic operators at national and international level as well as supporting new entrepreneurial initiatives.
She is president of the Management Board of the University for Innovation (U4I) Foundation, a joint initiative of the University of Bergamo, the University of Milan-Bicocca and the University of Pavia.
She runs courses in 'Economics and Management of Industrial Enterprises', and has devised and launched courses in 'Private Equity' and 'Entrepreneurship and Brain-intensive Enterprises' and 'Strategic Philanthropy' to foster young people's propensity to entrepreneurship, and a course in philanthropy, aimed at spreading culture and training professionals in this emerging field.
A chartered accountant (registered with the Milan Ordine) and auditor, she carries out investment and consultancy activities in the economic-financial field for business development through a wide network of relations in the sector of small and medium-sized companies and financial intermediaries.
In 2016 it set up AVM Gestioni SGR - Manager Euveca, now an ESG-certified Benefit and Innovative Enterprise, specialising in investing in European SMEs. AVM Gestioni.
In 2021, he conceived and realised within the SGR the AVM Musa division, an interactive platform open to all potential startuppers who wish to compare their idea and experience with experts from the financial and production sectors.
