Course instructor and teaching assistant for Industrial Technical Drawing and Design & Prototyping Principles for Mechanical Engineering, Management Engineering, and Health Technologies Engineering at the University of Bergamo.

RESEARCH
He works in the field of Engineering Design, with particular interest in technical knowledge retrieval from documentary sources and systematic innovation approaches.
Has conceived and developed methods and tools for:
- Systematic innovation and engineering design based on TRIZ and FBS;
- Automatic extraction of information from patents, integrating artificial intelligence with LLMs, RAG, and agents;
- Eco-design and circular economy;
- Prospective LCA based on technological forecasting;
- Anticipatory Failure Investigation and FMEA for product design;
- Optimization with parametric LCA and Machine Learning;
- Design for compliant mechanisms and additive manufacturing.

PROJECTS
- Principal Investigator of the PRIN 2022 EU NEXT GEN project “EcoDAM – Eco-design for Additive Manufacturing”
- Scientific coordinator for industrial research collaborations on LCA, eco-design, technological forecasting, and patent analysis
