CONSONNI Stefania

Stefania Consonni (PhD in Theory of Literature) specialises in literary and art theory, history, and criticism; the morphology of genres and styles; the relationships between language, the arts, and aesthetics; narratology, narrative, the novel, and writing for cinema and other media; iconology and imagology; temporality and spatiality in the configuration of verbal and visual language. Her research also explores the languages of creativity (including Lego building bricks). She has published extensively on modern and contemporary literary and visual culture from comparative, intersemiotic, and intermedial perspectives. Over the past two decades, her scholarship has received recognition from leading national and international institutions, including the Musée du Louvre, the Institut National d'Histoire de l'Art (INHA), the European Drawing Foundation, the Deutsches Forum für Kunstgeschichte, Tate Britain, and the Barbican Centre.
